Introduction

Howdy!

We are LeeAnn and RB.  We met through our shared love of hiking, traveling, camping, and the outdoors.  We’ve been on many great adventures together.  However… we allowed life to get in the way and we had not been doing as much of these activities as we would like. We found ourselves spending most of each day at a keyboard, on the phone, or staring at a screen.  While necessary for our jobs, we were also letting ourselves get easily consumed by our many digital devices, screens, and keyboards during our downtime.  Another weekend would be lost to streaming services and scrolling feeds on our phones instead of being  active or pursuing adventures in nature.

We created AFK Days (Instagram page & blog) to encourage ourselves to have more days away from the keyboard and to document how we are spending those days. AFK is an acronym popular in online culture which stands for Away From Keyboard, meaning someone has stepped away from their digital presence for an indefinite amount of time.  Our AFK Days project provides inspiration to be more creative & active in our interests.

As we definitely wanted to do more outdoor activities, we wondered how we could make this easier for us to be able to go and do these things we love… especially while still working full-time.

So we bought a travel trailer!
